With the Speed series of 2-line kites, HQ has taken the venerable Symphony design, turned up the aspect ratio, increased the number of cells for sail stiffness, and added a high speed profile.  The result is a high performance foil with considerable speed and pull. 

Why does it cost so much more than a regular Symphony?  With a higher cell count, it is a much more technical build.  The bridles have sewn loops instead of knotted loops for smoother lines and less to snag on.  Also heftier Dyneema like sets sized properly for each Speed size.
