This is the kite buggy simplified. It is perfect for the entry level or casual rider who does not need to spend the money on a heavy frame built for harsh freestyle or racing. The frame is built with stainless steel, just like the other PL buggies.
The seat is a simplified design built with heavy nylon fabric and webbing and includes a padded lower back rest.
The entire frame is held together with a single bolt at the down-tube joint and the headstock bolt at the top of the down-tube. Like the other PL buggies, the back axle pops off for easy transport with no tools in about 30 seconds and the foot pegs come off with no tools besides the tip of your car key or any other pointy object to press in on a a spring clip. The down-tube length is adjustable for riders up to about 6' tall. Taller and heavier riders may be more comfortable in the Comp XR+ or Bigfoot buggies.
While we would not recommend crashing over sand dunes, jumping or riding through rough fields with this lightweight buggy, it is perfect for casual and baisc freestyle riding on smooth fields and sand beaches. There are a couple of these that have been showing up on Jekyll island beaches for years and they hold up just fine with only normal wear and tear. The standard 4" wide tires are fine for smooth fields or hard-pack sand, and the 6.5" wide wheels are better for softer sand and mixed conditions.
Comes complete with wrenches for assembly and full color instruction manual.
