These are the "mushroom" or "top-hat" shaped bushings that fit into the bearings at the top and bottom of the headstock, allowing the fitting of the smaller diameter headstock bolt.
Sizes/ Buggies...
- 8mm ID x 12 mm OD for Competition ST (part # BBPL0024)
- 10mm ID x 16mm OD for XR+, Folding+ and BigFoot+ (part # BBPL0025)
They are used in pairs but sold separately by the piece, since it is easy to lose one (or two) if you take off the front fork for transport and don't secure them. (Gee, how do I know that?) They normally will not wear out unless the bearings have been allowed to seize up, causing them to grind against the headstock bolt.
