We fist heard a hint about a new race kite from the guys at HQ over two and a half years ago, so we know that they have been working on this for a while.  According to the first reports out of Europe, it sounds like they have a winner and we are now taking pre-orders for July 2010 delivery.

The Prodigy is a kite for the intermediate and expert buggy rider.  Like most race kites, It will benefit from the right application of brake pressure by the experienced rider to get the maximum boost in performance.  Reports are that that the Prodigy is very smooth, stable and well mannered.  Aspect Ratio figures are not published yet, but looking at the wingspan and square areas published, we can deduce that the A/R runs from about 5.2 on the smaller size, up to 5.8 on the largest.

The Prodigy comes kite-only (with backpack and manual) , to be equipped with the handles and lines combination of your choice.

Wind ranges are not published and are left for the experienced rider to decide based on skill, weight and riding style.
