This is the standard 8" rim (hub) used on both Peter Lynn and Flexifoil buggies (depending on bearing size).  They will fit the standard 4.5" x 16" tires, the "Extra Wide" 6.5 x 16" tires or Peter Lynn "Bigfoot" tires 10" x 21".

These come shipped with a hole for an inner tube valve stem, but if you want to go tubeless, just insert a standard tubeless valve stem available at the car parts store (smear a bit of dish-washing soap around it and pull it through with a big pair of pliers).

There is now only one hub choice:  One that fits  ONLY 20 mm (axle bolt) bearings. For the 12mm front wheels, we will supply bushings to adapt the bearings to the 12mm axle bolt.  The hub features a safety over-pressure valve to prevent rim blow-out in the event you accidentally over inflate the tire.  It looks a little different that the ones in the picture on the left but is functionally the same.

You can order either with or without bearings and spacer.  The spacer  is a steel tube that fits inside the rim between the bearings and the axle bolt goes through it.  The spacer takes the compression load of the axle bolt.  Mounting the wheel without the spacer will destroy the hub

NOTE: Some bearings may be sourced locally from commercial industrial suppliers and are of same or higher grade as original suppliers.
